What is Your Mission?

Christ called, Christ-centered, Christ sent, loving all.

We are Christ called.

1. We are called by Christ in baptism.

2. We are called by Christ into the church.

3. We are called by Christ to the Lord's Table.

4. We are called by Christ to be life-long learners.

5. We have been called by Christ into the Schoenbrunn congregation where our gifts are needed in order for the church to fulfill its mission.

6. We are called by Christ to a vocation for which we are especially gifted by God.

We are Christ-centered.

• Christ is at the center of our lives.

  • We make choices that honor Christ and put Christ first.

  • We follow Christ's commandments.

• We worship regularly.

• We study the Scriptures with others.

• We pray daily, have a time of family devotions, and read and study the Scriptures.

• We give generously.

• We use our gifts in service to Christ, his church, and others in his name.

• We share in Christian fellowship.

We are Christ sent.

• We are sent by Christ to share the good news of his life, death and resurrection.

• We are sent by Christ to be instruments of healing, reconciliation and unconditional love.

• We are sent by Christ to do justice and love mercy, and walk humbly with God and others.

• We are sent by Christ to share our hope with everyone we meet, inviting them into relationship with Jesus.
