Pastor's Message

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

We have so much ministry to look forward to in this new year! Corrie ten Boom's faith-filled phrase, “Amazing Adventure in Trusting Him,” is perfect for us as we set out trusting Christ, the Light of the World, to illumine our path and guide our way into an exciting future: a missional future, a green future, a bright future!

As we live out our mission statement: Christ called, Christ-centered, Christ sent..loving all, how Christ plans to use us to reach the hearts of others will be revealed! With enthusiasm, we will worship; learn and grow; serve and give. Worship is the heart of our ministry – it's where it all begins.

We will worship regularly and we will worship with joy and delight because God takes delight in us and in our worship! Look at all God has done for us: unconditional love, forgiveness, eternal life, not to mention providing for ministry more resources than much of the world can imagine!! In worship, Christ calls us through the gospel to love and follow him. Here we receive and are reminded of the gift of baptism, a sign of God's grace within; here we remember that Christ gave his life for us; here we rejoice, give thanks, praise and pray; here we give, and help one another to be all that Christ is calling us to be. We will learn and grow, as we stay centered in Christ through worship, prayer and study.

In this new year, we can be certain that Christ will send us out to tell others of his love and light, and to show them the difference it makes that Christ is the center of our lives. Christ will send us to minister and serve those in places near and far. Christ will send us to minister and serve those in places near and far. Christ has sent us to love everyone we meet – “one by one.” Get ready for an “Amazing Adventure in Trusting Him.”
